IKEJA LOCAL GOVERNMENT in pursuance of its mandate and in compliance with the requirement of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency Law 2015 as amended in 2021 and in line with 2022 capital budgetary provision,the Ikeja Local Government now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following projects.

MERCY CORPS NIGERIA – REQUEST FOR BID

Mercy Corps, an International Non-Government Humanitarian Organization that works in 40 countries around the world to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive and just communities. Since 2012, Mercy Corps has worked to tackle Nigeria’s complex and evolving needs through a range of dynamic, multi-sector programs. In Nigeria, Mercy Corps is addressing the immediate humanitarian needs of vulnerable communities; enabling conflict-affected populations to transform from relief to resilience using market-driven approaches; and supporting community-led peace building efforts.

Mercy Corps Nigeria hereby wishes to invite suitably qualified companies to bid for the procurement as indicated below:

PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION (CoEER) AND INTEGRATED CONTAMINATED SOIL MANAGEMENT CENTER (ICSMC) IN OGONILAND

1. BACKGROUND
In line with its mandates to implement various recommendations of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) report on Environmental Assessment of Ogoniland, the HYPREP of the Federal Ministry of Environmental has made adequate provision in its 2022 Budget to construct a Centre of Excellence for Environmental Remediation (CoEER) including Integrated Contaminated Soil Management Centre (ICSMC) at Wiyakara in Khana LGA of Ogoniland.
