INVITATION TO TENDER

1. INTRODUCTION
The Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology, Kano is established with a mandate to train middle level manpower in Agricultural Produce. Technology using Dynamic Training Curriculum, Modern Infrastructural Facilities based on best in-class practices. The College hereby invites interested, competent and reputable Contractors, Suppliers and Service Providers with relevant experience and good track record to make submission for the execution of the following projects under the College’s 2021 Capital Appropriation Funds.

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
a. Evidence of certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Form CAC1.1 or CAC2 and CAC7;
b. Evidence of Company Income’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2021;
c. Evidence of pension clearance certificate valid till 31st December, 2021 (applicable where number of staff is at least 15);
d. Evidence of industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021 (applicable where number of staff is at least 5 or at least N50m turnover);
e. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021;
f. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2021 or valid Certificate issued by BPP;
g. Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Federal College of Agricultural produce Technology or the Bureau of public procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars;
h. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years -2018, 2019 and 2020;
i. Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria, indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
j. company’s profile with the curriculum vitae of key staff to be deployed for the project including copies of their Academics/professional qualification;
k. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including letter of Awards, Valuation Certificates and job completion Certificate and job completion certificate and photograph of the projects;
l. List of plants/equipment with proof of ownership/lease;
m. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the company’s letter head paper bearing amongst others, the registration Number (RC) is issued by the CAC, Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No) and email address. The letter head paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm.

1. This Invitation for Bids follow the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online of 5th March, 2019 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

2. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Inclusive Basic Service Delivery and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Programme. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of works for the construction of model primary healthcare centers with accommodation for nurses.

3. The Project Implementation Unit, Inclusive Basic Service Delivery and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Programme Borno State now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the execution of the works for the construction of primary healthcare centers with Nurses accommodations, in MMC, Damasai Marte, Kwaya Kusar and Damboa.
