INTRODUCTION
The Federal Government of Nigeria has allocated funds to Federal Government Girls’ College, Minjibir, Kano State in the, 2021 Appropriation for the execution of policies, programmes and projects towards achieving the mandate of the College. Accordingly, college wishes to invite reputable contractors with relevant proven competence experience to submit tenders for the execution of the following projects:

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Prospective Bidders must possess the under listed requirements to be eligible in this procurement.
i. Evidence of certificate of incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Forms CAC2 and CAC7 (or CAC 1.1);
ii. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years, 2018, 2019 and 2020 expired 31st December 2021; with minimum average annual turnover of N20 Million;
iii. Evidence of Pension Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021 (applicable where number of staff is at least 15);
iv. Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021 (applicable where number of staff is at least 5 or at least N50m turnover);
v. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021;
vi. Evidence of registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31st December, 2021 or valid certificate issued by BPP;
vii. Sworn Affidavit:
 disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committee of the Federal Government Girls’ College, Minjibir, Kano State or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Directors, shareholders or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and toconfirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars;
 That the company is not in receivership, insolvent or bankrupt;
 That the company does not have any Director who has been convicted in any court in Nigeria or any other country for criminal offences in relation to fraud or financial impropriety;
viii. Company’s audited accounts for the last three years 2018, 2019 and 2020 duly signed and stamped by ICAN/ANAN professional(s);
ix. Company’s profile with the curriculum vitae of key staff to be deployed for the project including copies of their Academic/profession qualifications such as COREN, QSRBN, ARCON, CORBON, etc.;
x. Reference letter from a reputable Commercial Bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
xi. Verifiable documentaryevidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including letters of Awards, valuation certificates, completion certificate and photographs of the projects;
xii. List of Plants/Equipment with proof of Ownership/Lease;
xiii. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a covering/forwarding letter under the company/firm’s letter head paper bearing among others the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), contact address, telephone number (preferably GSM no.) and e-mail address, the letter headed paper must bear the names and nationalities of the Directors of the company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm.

  9. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project including Reference Letter from a reputable commercial bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
  10. Evidence of relevant previous work/project satisfactorily executed and this should include: Award Letters and Completion Certificates as evidence of executing the project as well as list of similar jobs handled in the past in terms of scope, size, cost, structure and complexity;
  11. Company Profile with the Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic/ professional qualification (ARCON, QSRBN, CORBON, COREN etc.);
  12. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the company/Firm’s letter Head Paper.Each would-be bidder is expected to pay a non-refundable tender fee ofN10, 000.00 for each of the lots.

Tender documents and additional information are to be collected from the Office of the Director, Physical Planning Department. Interested contractors may tender for more than one Lot separately and should note that failure to include any of the requirements above renders the application invalid.
