INTRODUCTION
Sheda Science and Technology Complex is a Government Parastatal with a mandate to conduct Research and Development in the Advanced Basic and Applied Science, and Maintain High Quality Advanced Research Laboratories and Facilities in Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, Chemistry, Physics and Applied Mathematics and Simulation for use by all institutions of higher learning to strengthen the technological base of the Nigerian economy.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has made provision in the 2021 Appropriation Act for the procurement of Goods, Works and Services in respect of Sheda Science and Technology Complex, Sheda, Abuja. Consequently, the Complex is desirous of engaging competent companies to submit Tender documents for the following.

INTRODUCTION
The Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdul Razaq, as part of his effort to develop and improve sporting activities in the state, has approved the Construction of Table Tennis Complex at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.

SCOPE OF PROJECT
Construction of Table Tennis Complex

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested and competent Companies wishing to bid for the project are requested to submit their company profiles which shall include the following:
i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
ii. Evidence of Company Incomes Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020).
iii. Evidence of current Pension Compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
iv. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
v. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
vi. Evidence of Registration with Kwara State Public Procurement Agency.
vii. Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020).
viii. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial Bank in Nigeria.
ix. Company’s profile with Curriculum Vitae of key staff including their academic and professional qualifications.
x. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years Including Letters of Awards, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates, etc.

COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Interested Companies should as from 6th May, 2021, obtain Bid Documents from the Kwara State Ministry of Sports and Youth Development upon payment of appropriate non-refundable Tender Fee.

SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Prospective Bidders should submit completed Technical and Financial bids documents in two separate sealed envelopes. The two envelopes should be enclosed in a larger envelope and clearly marked “Tender for the Construction of Table Tennis Complex” at the right-hand corner of the envelope with the company name behind and addressed to The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, Ahmadu Bello Way, Ilorin, Kwara State.

CLOSING DATE/OPENING OF DOCUMENTS
Submission of Bid closes on 17th June, 2021, at 12 Noon and late submission shall not be considered. Bid will opened on the same day and time in the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development Conference Room.

The Jigawa State Government intends to undertake the Construction/Rehabilitation of Roads across the State, and is hereby inviting interested reputable Civil Engineering Companies to submit their pre-qualification/Tender documents which includes copies of the under listed and obtained the required tender documents at a non-refundable fee of five hundred thousand naira (#500,000.00) only from the office of the Director Planning, Research & Statistics, Ministry of Works and Transport, Dutse – Jigawa State not later than Six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.

THE PROJECTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:-
LOT 1: Construction of Ringim – Facawa- Doko Road 23.50 km with a completion period of twelve (12) months.
LOT 2: Construction of Koko – Fayam Fayam – Road 5.50 km with a completion period of Ten (10) Months.
LOT 3: Dualization of Fanisau- Unity Pentagon Roundabout – 11.50 km with a completion period of Twelve (12) Months.
LOT 4: Dualization of Sambajo Roundabout – Kwanar Kogi- 1.13 km with a completion period of Eight (8) Months.
LOT 5: Construction of Birnin – Kudu Township Roads- 3.15 km with a completion period of Eight (8) Months
LOT 6: Construction of Road Network at JICORAS – 3.00 km with a completion period of Six (6) Months

SCOPE OF WORKS:
Clearance, Filling, construction of culverts, provision of 150mm lateritic sub-base and base course on carriageway and shoulder, asphaltic concrete overlay, Drainages and associated Road furniture of the entire Road section as per Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation as contained in the bidding documents.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission,
2. Certified true copy of memorandum and Article of Association;
3. Evidence of Registration with Jigawa State Works Registration Board;
4. Registration with Jigawa State Ministry of Commerce (Business Premises)
5. Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years.
6. Audited account for the last one (1) year;
7. VAT Registration certificate and evidence of remittance;
8. Evidence of financial capability and Banking support;
9 Company average annual Turnover of not less than #1.25b, #550m, #2.58b, #530m, #520m
and #500m for Lots 1, 2,3,4,5 and 6 respectively.
10 Evidence of similar project executed (letter of award and completion certificate) at least three (3) in the last five (5) years;
11 Company’s profile including names of key professional staff registered with relevant professional bodies (COREN, CORBON, QSRBN, ARCON etc);
12 That the company have fulfilled all obligations to pay taxes, pensions and social security contributions;
13 A sworn affidavit certifying as follows:
(i) That the document submitted for the pre-qualification exercise are not only genuine but correct
(ii) That none of the directors of the company has been convicted by any court of law
(iii) That the company is not bankrupt
(iv) That none of the officers of Jigawa State/Local Government is a present or former director of the company
(v) Any other relevant information that will help in determining the company’s suitability for the work;

Pre-qualification and financial bids shall be submitted in two different sealed envelopes and labeled “Pre-qualification bid” and “Financial bid” respectively with the company’s name indicated at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be placed in a sealed third envelope addressed and delivered to the office of the Permanent Secretary, Jigawa State Ministry of Works and Transport and not later than Tuesday 25th May, 2021 by 12noon.
