1. The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for construction of Alasan-Faga-Bagassaka-Bakayo-Romo Demonstration road in Sokoto state. This contract will be jointly financed by the L’Agence Francaise de Development (French Development Agency or AFD). Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s procurement regulations.
