1. INTRODUCTION
The National Hajj Commission was established and charged with the responsibility of licensing, regulatory, performing oversight, and undertaking supervisory functions over agencies and other bodies; and related matters on Hajj and Umrah activities in Nigeria.
Over the years, there has been a significant increase in Hajj and Umrah activities by Nigerian pilgrims, and this creates a challenge for the commission as it requires an adequate data management system to track intending pilgrims and manage the entire activities of Hajj and Umrah efficiently. Calling for the need to develop a database and an enterprise resource portal with the aim of automating the entire end-to-end process for Umrah activities.

REQUEST FOR CONCEPT NOTE FOR STRENGTHENING CIVIC ADVOCACY AND LOCAL ENGAGEMENT (SCALE) INNOVATION FUND – NIGERIA

The Nigeria Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCALE) project is a five-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Palladium through a cooperative agreement with USAID. The goal of the project is to improve public accountability, transparency, and sustainable service delivery in Nigeria. The strategic objective is to strengthen the financial, management, and advocacy capacity of local civil society organizations (CSOs) and business membership organizations (BMOs) in Nigeria to create a more accountable, transparent, peaceful, and democratic Nigeria with more effective and efficient public service delivery. The Project emphasizes leadership and innovation and explicitly aims to engage marginalized populations, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other minorities in the process.

The objective of the project is to strengthen the financial, management and advocacy capacity of local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) in Nigeria to create a more accountable, transparent, peaceful, and democratic Nigeria with more effective and efficient public service delivery.

SUBJECT: ANNOUNCEMENT OF REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS UNDER USAID CONTRACT NO. 72062018D00002/72062020F00008 TO BUILD CAPACITY OF GOVERNMENT STAFF TO DELIVER AND REPORT QUALITY MALARIA SERVICES IN SECURITY CHALLENGED AREAS IN ZAMFARA STATE.

Dear NGO:
USAID awarded the US President’s Malaria Initiative for States (PMI-S) Project to Management Sciences for Health, Inc. (MSH) in June 2018. As of 17 February, 2022, the PMI-S Project is requesting expressions of interest (REOI) from qualified organizations to Build the Capacity of Government Staff to Deliver and Report Quality Malaria Services in Security Challenged Areas in Zamfara State. Based on the selection criteria set forth in this request, grants will be issued to private, on-profit organizations including Community – based organizations (CBOs) and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for a period of more than a year. It is expected that the USAID PMI-S Project will award a grant to one organization as stated above by March, 2022.
