PRE-QUALIFICATION ADVERT
PREAMBLE
In compliance with Niger state Public Procurement Law and Regulations for the procurement of works, goods and services in Niger State Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies, the Niger State Ministry of Works and Infrastructural Development invites competent contractors to apply for pre-qualification in tendering for the Asphalt overlay of some selected roads in Minna Township: category A (Lot 1, 2 and 3) totaling 12.0km and category B (Lot 4, 5 and 6) totaling 11.8km.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work shall consist of reconstruction of shoulders to receive second coat surface dressing, milling of existing wearing surfacing, concrete work in hydraulic structures, U-drains and access slabs, provision of walk ways on both sides and asphalt overlay with road markings.
PRE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
Submission of profile containing the following:
i. Evidence of certificate of incorporation issued by the Corporate Affairs Commissions (CAC) including forms CAC2 and CAC 7
ii. Evidence of company income tax clearance certificate or pension income tax for the past three years (2018, 2019 and 2020) valid till 31st December 2021 with a minimum average turnover of 3 Billion Naira in the last 5 years
iii. Evidence of Nigeria Social Trust Funds clearance certificate valid till 31st December 2021
iv. A sworn affidavit: disclosing whether or not any officer of the company has been convicted in any law court for any criminal offences including fraud and financial impropriety and that the company is not in receivership, bankrupt or insolvent.
v. Documentary evidence of at least 3 similar successfully executed or on-going projects within the last 5 years including letters of award and valuation job completion certificates.
vi. Audited account of the company for the last three years (2018, 2019 and 2020)
vii. Evidence of financial capacity to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed
viii. Company profile shall contain CV’s of key staff including copies of their academic qualifications.
INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
All pre-qualification and supporting document (original and duplicate) should be neatly packaged in sealed envelopes marked “Invitation for pre-qualification” and shall be submitted to the office of the head of procurement on or before Thursday 20th of May, 2021 by 12:pm. Late submission shall be returned un-opened.
