INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NIGERIAN EXPORT TRADING HOUSES UNDER THE EXPORT EXPANSION FACILITY PROGRAMME (EEFP)

1. The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) is Nigeria’s apex institution for the promotion, development, and diversification of exports. NEPC has over the years worked to achieve its mandate by:
(a) Coordinating and harmonizing export development and promotion activities in the country
(b) Taking the lead in all national export programs
(c) Interfacing with international trade agencies on cooperation and capacity building

2. Under the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Nigerian Economic Sustainability Plan (NESP), the NEPC initiated the Export Expansion Facility Programme (EEFP), as its flagship project to actualize its Zero-Oil Plan

3. Through its initiatives, the EEFP seeks to significantly grow Nigeria’s capacity in non-oil exports and provide a sustainable path to reducing dependence on crude oil revenues.

4. One of the key interventions of the EEFP is the creation of Nigerian Export Trade Houses (ETH) in selected markets around the world to drive export to and availability of suitable Nigerian products in selected markets.

5. Pursuant to this objective, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified firms for the establishment of Nigerian Export Trade Houses in the following regions:
(a) Central Africa
(b) East Africa
(c) North Africa
(d) Southern Africa
(e) Far East/China
(f) Middle East
(g) North America

CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) SUPPLIER’S REGISTRATION STATE ACCOUNTABILITY, TRANSPARENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS (STATE2STATE) ACTIVITY.

BACKGROUND
DAI, the implementer of the USAID Nigeria State Accountability, Transparency, and Effectiveness (State2State) project, invites qualified applicants to express their interest in the State2State activity. The purpose of the “State Accountability, Transparency and Effectiveness (State2State) Activity is to increase the accountability, transparency and effectiveness of selected states and local governments (LGAs) in Nigeria. This will be achieved by strengthening governance systems (with a focus on public financial management (PFM) and procurement, as well as monitoring and evaluation) related to the delivery of services in key sectors (basic education, primary health care, and water, sanitation and hygiene [WASH]; increasing government responsiveness to citizen needs and priorities, and improving government and civil society capacity to manage conflict (through work on prevention, mitigation and reconciliation with the same sectoral partners, not stand-alone assistance to the police or judiciary).

The Activity is presently being implemented in the following six states: Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Gombe, and Sokoto. The Federal component of the activity is focused on facilitating national engagements that impacts work in the focal states and local governments.

Consequently, in accordance with procurement best practice, DAI is calling for Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified, interested, and duly established companies, suppliers, and service providers in Bauchi and in the States where it operates to participate in the 2021-2022 prequalification of suppliers exercise in any of the below listed goods, services or work area(s):

Existing vendors should consider this EOI as a revalidation exercise and are required to participate. All hitherto existing vendors will be delisted and relisted again through this exercise.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE AND INSTRUCTIONS:
You are expected to submit your expression of Interest (EOI) to location(s) that you have operational presence only. Hard copies of the EOIs documents should be bound together, sealed in an envelope and marked on the top right side with category reference number and category description. Description of Disability Assistive Devices for Children and Teachers with Disability

Points to Remember:

1. The rates of the items should be submitted in the above given format.
2. Prices/Rates against the items should be quoted inclusive of VAT.
3. Prices should be quoted for each item.
4. Prices quoted must be without overwriting and correction. In case of corrections/typos or overwriting rates written on the second copy will be considered valid. In cases where both copies have correction or overwriting, the stated bid will be deemed invalid.
5. Street Child of Nigeria will not be bound to accept the lowest quotation and rates. Supplies/Procurement can be placed on any other supplier whose samples/items are found superior or as per the requirements of Street Child of Nigeria.
6. The decision of the Tender Committee shall be final on selections.
7. Street Child of Nigeria can consider and select more than one Vendors/Company for the Procurement of the items itemized above.
8. Selected vendor should have verifiable evidence of having provided similar supplies with at least 2 NGOs and / or government partners
9. Vendors/Companies domiciled with BAY (Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states, especially Borno are highly encouraged to apply.
