The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Immunization plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement Of Long-Lasting Insecticide Treated Nets (Mass Campaign & Routine Distribution – Under Component Two Of The Project). For this contract, the borrower shall process the payments using the direct payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s disbursement guidelines for investment project financing.

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low and middle-income countries. CHAI Nigeria has since 2007 collaborated with the Federal Government of Nigeria to expand access to HIV/AIDS care and Treatment for people living with HIV (PLHIV). This collaboration till date has expanded to programs such as Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Syphilis, Vaccines, Cancer, support for the affordable Medicines Facility for Malaria (AMFm), Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention, Routine Immunization, the scale-up of Zinc/ORS, Family Planning, Pneumonia, Health Financing and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
