SELECTION OF A NATIONAL CSO OR NGO FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CAPACITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES OF COMMUNITIES AND OTHER ACTORS FOR IMPROVED MONITORING AND ECOSYSTEM MANAGEMENT OF THE LAKE CHAD BASIN AS PART OF THE GEF-UNDP-LCBC PROJECT

The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) received from GEF/UNDP funding to cover the cost of the project: Improving the Management of the Lake Chad Basin by Implementing the Strategic Action Programme (SAP) for the Lake Chad Basin to Strengthen Climate Change Resilience and Reduce Stress on the Ecosystem.” It intends to use part of this grant to make payments for service contracts for NGOs/CSOs specialised in capacity building of stakeholders both within the LCBC Executive Secretariat and stakeholders in the Member States.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES FOR NACA OFFICE HEADQUARTER (ABUJA) & ZONAL OFFICES (LAGOS, GOMBE, KANO, AKWA-IBOM, & NASARAWA)

1. The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) invites proposals for consulting services for the following assignment: Provision of Security Services for NACA Offic e Headquarter (Abuja) & Zonal Offices (Lagos, Gombe, Kano, Akwa-Ibom, & Nasarawa). The purpose of doing the assignment is as follows: The consultant will lead and manage the review and development of the three national documents. The reviewed national documents shall provide practical strategies to ensure effective and efficient implementation of HIV prevention programs for all populations in Nigeria. They will be used at all levels – national, state and community by key stakeholders, policymakers and HIV program implementers. The documents will align with the goal of the Global Prevention Coalition of ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030, other national policy documents and contain global best practices on HIV/AIDS programming.

2. More details on the requested services are provided in the Terms of Reference included in the attached Request for Proposals.

INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AND PRE-QUALIFICATION

As part of its infrastructural development program, the Yobe State Government wishes to undertake the construction of some roads projects in the State. Sequel to that and in compliance with the due process policy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement Law 2016, the Yobe State Ministry of Works wishes to pre-qualify interested and experienced contractors for the under-listed projects.

(i) Construction of 10 kilometers Asphalt road from Chumbosko-Tagali in Bade Local Government Area of Yobe State.
(ii) Construction of 30 kilometers Asphalt road from Bulanguwa – Kumaganam in Nguru and Yusufari Local Government Areas of Yobe State;
(iii) Provision/construction of stone base on 16 kilometers Nguru – Bulanguwa road;
