PROCUREMENT OF STARTER PACKS FOR FOUR HUNDRED (400)
GRADUATES OF TVET INSTITUTIONS

1. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online on June 12, 2012.

2. The Federal Government of Nigeria Has received credit from the International Development Association and grant from the European Union Towards the cost of State Employment & Expenditure for Results (SEEFOR) Project. Bayelsa State is participating in the project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit and grant for payments under the agreement(s) resulting from this IFB: Procurement of Starter Packs for four hundred (400) Graduates of TVET Institutions. IFB Number: BY/SEEFOR/NCB/G/03/2020

3. The Bayelsa State SEEFOR Project, State Project Coordinating Unit (SPCU) serves as the implementing agency for the Project and now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Starter Packs for four hundred (400) Graduates of TVET Institutions.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods. Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers- Procurement of Small Works, December 2011, revised July 2014 (Procurement Guidelines) that meet the following minimum qualification criteria:

A. Background:
FAMILY HEALTH INTERNATIONAL (FHI360) is not-for-profit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. Our staff includes expert in health, education, nutrition, environmental, economic development, civil society, gender equality, youth, research and technology, creating a unique mix of capabilities to address today’s interrelated development challenges. FHI360 is implementing the USAID’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA), Integrated Humanitarian Assistance Northeast Nigeria. FHI 360 is supporting acute needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Borno State through the provision of integrated health and nutrition, protection and WASH programming. FHI360 has received fund from USAID to intervene in Banki, Dikwa and Ngala local governments to mitigate the spread of the COVID 19 virus and reduce the risk of infection in an already vulnerable displaced population.

FHI360 is hereby seeking qualified and interested vendors to submit quotation for the supply of the following Infection, Protection & Control consumables to our Maiduguri Office.

REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) FOR MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR SUPPLY OF QUARTERLY REQUIREMENT OF HYGIENE KIT

With funding from USAID’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) and SNEPCO, FHI360 is supporting acute needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Borno State through the provision of integrated health and nutrition, protection and WASH programming.

FHI360 is hereby seeking is to engage pharmaceuticals distribution company (wholesale and retail) through a Master Service Agreement. The company(ies) through this MSA will be required to deliver upon request a quarterly requirement of below listed items to be kitted and distributed to FHI360 supported IDP camps in Borno state.
