CORRIGENDUM I

Pursuant to observation raised on our earlier public notice dated Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 captioned “INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER ( TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL) FOR YEAR 2020 INTERVENTION FROM NATIONAL INSURANCE COMMISSION, ABUJA” inviting interested and reputable contractors with relevant experience and track record to submit Technical and Financial bids for the project under the year 2020 intervention from National Insurance Commission, Abuja: bidders are hereby requested to note that:
a. The date for the closure of bid submission has been shifted to not later than 12 noon on Wednesday, 27th January 2021.
b. Only the technical bids will be opened immediately after the deadline of submission at the council Chamber in the Administrative Building of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Agbani at 12noon on Wednesday, 27th January 2021.

Bidders are to please note that their submissions are to be in line with the advertorial and this corrigendum.

INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The ECONOMIC COMMUNITY OF WEST AFRICAN STATES (ECOWAS) Commission intend to use parts of its fund to finance eligible payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery as well as, Installation and Testing where Applicable of Cisco Firewall, Network Devices, Software and Poly Phones for ECOWAS Commission.

2. The ECOWAS Commission, therefore, invites sealed bids for the supply of aforementioned Equipment in four (4) lots as indicated below:
• Lot 1: Supply, Delivery, Installation, testing, of Cisco Appliances (Quantities and Specifications stated in the bidding document);
• Lot 2: Supply, Delivery and Testing, of Hardware items (Quantities and Specifications stated in the bidding document);
• Lot 3: Supply, Delivery, Installation, testing of Software Utilities (Quantities and Specifications stated in the bidding document);
• Lot 4: Supply, Delivery, Installation, testing of Poly IP Phones, accessories and SBC (Quantities and Specifications stated in the bidding document).

3. The four (4) lots are distinct and indivisible, and the contract will be awarded per lot. Interested bidders with the requisite qualification and experience may bid for one (1), more than one (1) or all four (4) lots.

4. The Bidding Document is only obtainable at the Procurement Division, Directorate of General Administration, ECOWAS Commission, Plot 101, Yakubu Gowon Crescent, Asokoro District, Abuja, Nigeria, upon submission of a written request and payment of Two hundred US Dollars (US$200) only by Cash or Bank draft made in favour of ECOWAS Commission, Abuja.
For Bidders outside Nigeria, the Bidding Document can be mailed to interested Bidders upon payment (by Transfer) of non-refundable fee of Two hundred US Dollars (US$200) only to ECOWAS Commission (transfer charges born by the bidder). (Account Details available on request.)

1.0 BACKGROUND
1.1 The Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze Anambra State is a beneficiary of the Years 2016-2019(Merged) Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Project Maintenance intervention.
1.2 Accordingly, and in line with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007, the College is desirous of undertaking a prequalification and tender exercise for the under listed project under the Years 2016-2019(Merged) TETFund Project Maintenance Intervention. Consequently, the College wishes to invite reputable interested contractors/companies to submit their technical and financial bids for the under listed project:

2.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

3.0 COLLECTION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS
Bid documents containing full specifications etc. to be collected from the Procurement Department between 9am and 4pm daily, Monday to Friday upon the presentation of original receipt for the payment of Ten Thousand Naira (N 10,000.00) tender fee for the project paid into the FCE (T) Umunze’s Remita Account in any reputable commercial bank in Nigeria.

4.0 SUBMISSION GUIDE FOR BID DOCUMENTS
Two bound copies each of the technical and financial bids are to be separately sealed in different envelopes indicating the project name and code and both the financial and technical bids are then to be enclosed in one sealed large envelope indicating the name and code of the project bidded for and addressed to:
The Provost,
Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze,
PMB 0189, Anambra State.

The sealed documents are to be dropped in the Tender box stationed in the Procurement Department, Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze, Anambra State (Campus one) not later than 12noon on Wednesday 27 January, 2021.

5.0 OPENING OF BID
Only the technical bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at the College Council Chamber at 12noon at Campus one.
Please ensure that you sign the Bid Submission Register in the Procurement Department of Federal College of Education (Technical). Umunze as the College will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids.
