INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS FOR THE EXECUTION OF 2020 APPROPRIATION

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Federal Government of Nigeria has allocated funds to Federal Government Colleges Rubochi in 2020 Appropriation for the execution of programmes and projects towards achieving the mandate of college, accordingly, the college wishes to invite reputable contractors with relevant proven competence and experience to submit tender for the execution of the following project.

TENDER NOTICE

1. INTRODUCTION
In compliance with public procurement law 2016 of Kaduna, State Ikara Local Government Council is in the process of carrying out some procurement for 3rd quarter 2020. In view of the foregoing background, suitably interested, qualified and reputable companies are hereby invited to submit tender for its invitation to tender notice in respect of the following projects.

A. Construction of 2-kilometer feeder road from Jangargari to Agalawa Ikara Local Government Area
B. Procurement of 18 seaters Hummer bus 2020 model
C. Procurement of Peugeot 508 2018 model.

2. ELIGIBILITY
Interested Companies are required to Submit the under listed documents which will be used as criteria for technical and/or financial evaluation of all bids:
i. Evidence of registration of the Company with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of the Company’s tax income clearance certificate of at least 2 years immediately preceding this year.
iii. Evidence of Companies Financial Capability to handle these projects with letter of assurance from Companies bankers.
iv. Evidence of at least one verifiable similar job previously executed by the Company to be accompanied by letter of award of Contract, photographs and valuation certificate in respect of same.

ENUMERATORS FOR FEED THE FUTURE NIGERIA RURAL RESILIENCE ACTIVITY ACROSS ADAMAWA, BORNO, GOMBE AND YOBE STATES.

INTRODUCTION
MERCY CORPS has been present in Nigeria since 2012, focusing its interventions on adolescent girls’ empowerment, economic development and conflict mitigation. With the Insurgency spilling over from the Northeast of Nigeria and causing displacement of millions of Individuals, Mercy Corps started its humanitarian response in 2014 to address the rising humanitarian needs. Now with peace gradually returning to Adamawa, Borno, Gombe and Yobe, the moment is right to build on the significant humanitarian investments and move towards an integrated market systems development approach that will drive inclusive economic recovery and ensure peace gains are maintained and improved upon.

Rationale
Mercy Corps is implementing a five-year United States Agency for International Development (USAID)- funded Fed the Future Nigeria Rural Resilience Activity (RRA) in Northeast Nigeria. RRA aims to sustainably move people out of chronic vulnerability and poverty. Feed the Future Nigeria Rural Resilience Activity will enable individuals and communities to engage in strong and sustainable market systems rather than continuing to rely on humanitarian assistance and faltering with each new shock. To achieve this purpose, the Activity will have four components and four cross cutting elements.

Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree – Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration
• Law or any other field is mandatory etc. Professional Certifications will be an added advantage;
• Minimum of five (5) years cognate experience in working with (in) the public sector;
• Experience working with international donors is an added advantage;
• Computer literacy proficiency in running Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
• Experience in working with multi-stakeholder forum;
• Fluency in English Language;
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal. The incumbent should be able to demonstrate a strong command of all forms of communication and relay messages in a consistently effective, timely and engaging manner.
