INVITATION TO TENDER

The Borno State Government through Borno State Universal Basic Education Board in compliance with the public procurement act 2007 and the Borno State Bureau on public procurement law 2019, wishes to invites interested, reputable and competent contractors to submit tender for UBEC/SUBEB 1st 4th Quarters 2019 Projects.

The projects are for the following categories:
(a)     Lot 1: Construction of a block of 8 – classrooms storey building with offices and toilets.
(b)     Lot 2: Construction of a block of 6-classrooms storey building with offices and toilets.
(c)     Lot 3: Construction of a block of 2-classrooms with office, store &Toilet.
(d)     Lot 4: Renovation and Rehabilitation of Classrooms with offices and stores
(e)     Lot 5: Construction of a block of 10 compartment VIP Toilets.
(f)      Lot 6: Procurement of Sporting facilities/equipment.
(g)     Lot 7: Fabrication and supply of Pupils furniture/teachers tables & chairs.
(h)     Lot 8: Construction of Perimeter block wall fencing with security wire and guard Room.
(j)      Lot 9: Construction of a block of Staff Quarters
(k)     Lot 10: Drilling of Solar Bore holes with overhead tanks

BACKGROUND
Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is an indigenous non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 1989 with over 30 years’ experience in managing public health-based grants funded by USAID, CDC, Packard Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Fund, APIN, and PEPFAR among others.

ARFH is presently implementing the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) supported 5-year Integrated Child Health and Social Services Award (ICHSSA) 2 Project. ARFH is in a consortium with FHI 360 and Project Hope and working in partnership with 10 community-based organizations (CBOs) assigned per LGA to implement in the ten USAID-supported LGAs in Lagos State namely: Kosofe, Agege, Shomolu, Ajeromi, Badagry, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, Apapa, Surulere, and Ojo. The overall goal of the ARFH- ICHSSA 2 Project is to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS on Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in Lagos State with a specific focus on improving the wellbeing and welfare of OVC affected by HIV/AIDS. To achieve this goal, ARFH-ICHSSA 2 Project has the following objectives:
