BRITISH DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSION LAGOS
SALE OF USED AND SCRAPPED VEHICLES

The British Deputy High Commission, Lagos is offering used and scrapped vehicles for sale to members of the general public by Sealed Bids. The vehicles will be available for viewing at No.: 6, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island from Monday, October 12 – Thursday, October 15, 2020 between 10:00 – 14:00 hours daily.

Admission into the premises for viewing will be by appointment only and appointment should be made by emailing: lagos.transportenquiry@fco.gov.uk indicating the day and time you will come for inspection. Prospective bidders will be subjected to all COVID-19 protocols; including use of face mask, washing of hands/use of sanitize, temperature checks and social distancing.

The vehicles available for viewing are as follows:
(1) 1 x Land Rover, Defender
(2) 1 x Toyota, Prado TX
(3) 1 x Toyota, Prado
(4) 1 x lveco, Truck
(5) 1 x lveco, Box Van
(6) 1 x Mitsubishi L-200
(7) 1 x Flat, Box Van

All vehicles are sold “as is” and will be subject to payment of the appropriate Customs Duty as assessed by the Nigeria Customs Service except for Serial 6 and 7.

Interested parties wishing to purchase any of the vehicles will be required to submit a sealed bid to the British Deputy High Commission, using bid forms which will be provided. Sealed bids marked “BID FOR USED AND SCRAPPED VEHICLES” should be addressed to:

All bids must be submitted on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the viewing centre between 09:00 -12:00 hours. Interested parties will need to email lagos.transportenquiry@fco.gov.uk to make an appointment to place a bid.
