INVITATION FOR BIDS
1. INTRODUCTION
COKER/AGUDA Local Council Development Area is seeking bids from reputable and competent companies with good track records of performance and experience to Tender for the CONSTRUCTION OF A ONE-STOREY LEGISLATIVE BUILDING IN COKER/AGUDA LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA, in pursuance of its mandate and in compliance with the requirement of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency Law 2015 as amended in 2021 and in line with 2023 capital budgetary provision, Local Council Development Area now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following projects.

CONSTRUCTION OF A ONE-STOREY LEGISLATIVE BUILDING IN COKER/AGUDA LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA
3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Prospective bidders are expected to provide the under listed information and documents.
a. Cover letter duly signed by the company’s authorized signatory indicating interest.
b. Certificate of incorporate/registration with CAC
c. Evidence of company registration/renewal with COKER/AGUDA LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA
d. Company’s audited accounts for the year 2021 – 2023
e. Company’s profile and organization structure with CV of 5 key personnel with professional certificate.
f. Evidence and financial capability (reference letter from reputable bank capable and willing to provide line of credit for project execution, if required)
g. Current tax clearance certificate of the company and two directors for the last 3 years 2021 – 2023.
h. Evidence of technical capacity (lift of equipment and staffing etc.) Possession of experience as a prime contractor in at least 5 projects of similar nature and complexity with verifiable letters of contracts award and certificates of job completion within the last 5 years from 2021;
i. Exact verifiable location and full address contact, telephone numbers and email address of the authorized representation;
j. Evidence of technical partnership (manufacturer’s authorization where necessary)
k. If case of joint ventures, the company shall provide evidence of the joint venture’s agreement executed by all parties in the joint venture;
l. Performance bond issued by bank or certified insurance company
m. Prospective bidders should procure a bidding document at COKER/AGUDA LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA
4. SUBMISSION OF BIDS:

5. OPENING OF BIDS
The technical and financial tender will be opened immediately after the deadline, please ensure you signed the bid submission register on the 1st floor, room 2 as the procurement unit will not be liable for misplace or wrongly submitted bids.
The completed bid should be submitted on or before 12noon Thursday 17th October 2024, opening of bids follows immediately at the Local Government Secretariat, Habibat Magaji Hall.
NOTE:
1. COKER/AGUDA LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party (ies) in connection with responses to this invitation.
2. Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information at the procurement office COKER/AGUDA LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA.
3. Bidders will be issued bidding document upon payment of non-refundable fee of fifty thousand naira (N50,000) only.
