1. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Enugu State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this credit will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Contractor for Reclamation, Channeling and Remediation Works at Onuiyi Nsukka, Anyazuru Ohom Orba & Imilike Etiti Gully Erosion Sites (Lot 1-3).
2. The Enugu State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Contractor for the Reclamation, Channeling and Remediation Works at Onuiyi Nsukka, Anyazuru Ohom Orba & Imilike Etiti Gully Erosion Sites (“The Works”).
3. The Reclamation, Channeling and Remediation Works is for eight (7) calendar months

4. QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
a. Key qualification criteria are as follows:
(i) The Bidder shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available, liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the construction cash flow requirements estimated as follows:- Lot 1 NGN521,640,000.00 (USD 1,373,000.00), Lot 2 NGN557,658,000.00 USD1,468,000.00 Lot 3 NGN 271,254,000.00 (USD714,000.00) for the subject contract(s) net of the Bidder’s other commitments.
(ii) The Bidders shall also demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the Employer, that it has adequate sources of finance to meet the cash flow requirements on works currently in progress and for future contract commitments.
(iii) The audited balance sheets or, if not required by the laws of the Bidder’s country, other financial statements acceptable to the Employer, for the last (5) years shall be submitted and must demonstrate the current soundness of the Bidder’s financial position and indicate its prospective long-term profitability,
