1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Bank (hereinafter called the Bank) towards the cost of the Inclusive Basic Service Delivery and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payment under the contract for the construction of Hostels and Classroom in Lassa FSTC in Borno State of Nigeria. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payments disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and Procedures for Investment project financing.

1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received (or in appropriate cases “has applied for”) financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and intends to apply a part of the proceeds to the financing of this procurement. The use of any IFAD financing shall be subject to IFAD’s approval, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement, as well as IFAD’s rules, policies and procedures. IFAD and its officials, agents and employees shall be held harmless from and against all suits, proceedings, claims, demands, losses and liability of any kind or nature brought by any party in connection with Construction of Baddegi Irrigation Scheme in Baddegi Cluster, Bida LGA, Niger State.
