PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER SCHEMES IN OGONILAND

1. BACKGROUND
In line with its mandates to implement various recommendations of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Report on Environmental Assessment of Ogoniland, the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) of the Federal Ministry of Environment has intended to provide portable water supply in Ogoniland. To complement the Six (6) water works already being Rehabilitated/Constructed, HYPREP has, therefore, made adequate provision in its 2021 Budget to construct additional twelve (12) Water Schemes in Ogoniland.
