INTRODUCTION
The Federal Government of Nigeria, on behalf of the Oyo State Government has received a credit from the World Bank towards the cost of improving the capacity of Oyo State to effectively manage flood risk in the city of Ibadan through Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the payment of the contract for channelization of Agodi, Orogun, Kudeti and Ogbere North Rivers for flood control in Ibadan City of Oyo State.
