REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DOMESTIC EXPORT WAREHOUSES (DEW)/AGGREGATION CENTRES UNDER THE EXPORT EXPANSION FACILITY PROGRAMME (EEFP)
The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) is Nigeria’s apex institution for the promotion, development, and diversification of exports. NEPC has over the years worked to achieve its mandate by:
a) coordinating and harmonizing export development and promotion activities in the country
b) taking the lead in all national export programs
c) interfacing with international trade agencies on cooperation and capacity building
Under the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Nigerian Economic Sustainability Plan (NESP), the NEPC initiated the Export Expansion Facility Programme (EEFP), as its flagship project to actualize its Zero-Oil Plan
Through its initiatives, the EEFP seeks to significantly grow Nigeria capacity in non-oil exports and provide a sustainable path to reducing dependence on crude oil revenues.
One of the key interventions of the EEFP is the creation of Domestic Export Warehouses/Aggregation centres in 6 geo-political zones across the country to support the Nigerian Ports Authority.
Pursuant to this objective, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified firms for the establishment of Domestic Export Warehouses/Aggregation centre in the following regions:
a) North Central:- Niger, Kogi, Benue, Plateau, Kwara, Nasarawa, FCT
b) North East:-Bauchi, Borno, Taraba, Adamawa, Gombe, Yobe
c) North West:- Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Kebbi, Kastina, Kano, Jigawa
d) South West:- Oyo, Ekiti, Osun, Lagos, Ondo, Ogun
e) South East:- Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia
f) South South:- Delta, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Cross-rivers, Edo, Bayelsa
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Prospective bidders should register their interest on the company letterhead duly signed by the authorized person. The original should be submitted at the NEPC headquarters. The bid should also include at least the following information:
a) Concept description
b) Amount of support funding required (in NGN)
c) Timeline when funds will be utilized and expected benefits to be realized
d) Expected impact of the value add/volumes exported, jobs created/saved
METHOD OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS:
An original and two (2) printed copies, contained in a sealed envelope and the cover of the envelope clearly marked with the name of the bidder shall be delivered by hand to the under mentioned name and address and clearly marked: EEFP “DEW (Location) Proposal” at the top right-hand corner not later than Tuesday 6th July, 2021 by 1:00pm local time.
