INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE REHABILITATION WORKS/SUPPLY OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

1. The Kano State Government in its desire to improve the quality of healthcare among its citizens, the state ministry of health wishes to invite the prospective companies to express interest in the following projects:

3.	Rehabilitation/Renovation Works at Bebeji General Hospital
4.	Rehabilitation/Renovation Works at Fagwalawa General Hospital
5.	Rehabilitation/Renovation Works at Iman Wali General Hospital
6.	Rehabilitation/Renovation Works at D/Kudu General Hospital
7.	Rehabilitation/Renovation Works at Gezawa General Hospital
8.	Construction Of Offices At KHETFUND
9.	Rehabilitation/Renovation Works at Kura General Hospital
10.	Rehabilitation Works at Muhd Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital (Phase Ii)
11.	Completion of Construction of Hostel Block at School of Nursing, Kano
12.	Supply of Medical Equipment to Gwarzo General Hospital

3. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS:
Interested companies/suppliers should submit the following pre-qualified documents to office of the DPR&S/Secretary SMTB (Ministry of Health, Hqt – Post Office Road, Kano) on or before 7th Oct, 2024 not later than 12:00noon.

4. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION ARE:
a. Evidence of experience as a prime contractor on at least one project within last 5yrs
b. Memorandum and article of association (Name of directors with their addresses)
c. Have a project manager of between 3-5years experience
d. Organizational structure and names of key personnel with copies of CVs & certificates;
e. Evidence of registration with the corporate affairs commission
f. Evidence of tax clearance certificate (TCC) for the last 3 years
g. Annual turnover and audited statement of account of the company for last 3 yrs;
h. Evidence of financial capacity from the Bank;
i. VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances;
j. Tax Identification Number (TIN);
k. Evidence for settlement of withholding taxes due to the State;
l. Evidence of registration with Due Process Bureau & Kano State Works Reg. Board

5. IMPORTANT NOTICE:
i. Late submission of pre-qualification documents will be entertained
ii. Only companies/contractors that are adjudged successful in the pre-qualification screening exercise shall be invited to collect tender documents upon payment of non-refundable fee of N50,000.00 payable to the Account Section of the Ministry.
iii. Application for expression of interest accompanied by the above listed documents should be forwarded in appropriately sealed envelopes boldly marked at the Top left corner: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (PRE-QUALIFICATION) FOR THE REHABILITATION WORKS OR SUPPLY TO: THE SECRETARY; SMTB, MINISTRY OF HEALTH, POST OFFICE ROAD, KANO.
iv. This advertisement will not be commitment on the part of Kano State Government, nor shall it entail that those that submitted documents could make claim(s) whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from Kano State Government or its State Ministry of Health of this publication.
