INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE 2023 UBEC/SUBEB PROJECTS

1. Ondo state SUBEB has been granted approval by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) to commence implementation of the UBEC/SUBEB 2023 Action plan on Universal Basic Education Intervention Fund Programme.

2. In view of this, the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board hereby invites registered, experienced and reputable contractors to tender for the underlisted jobs;

REQUIREMENTS FOR TENDERING
i. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission CAC.
ii. Evidence of current registration with Ondo State Bureau of Public Procurement for the year 2023.
iii. Evidence of current 3 years FIRS tax clearance certificate (2021, 2022 & 2023) having expiry date of 31st December, 2023.
iv. Copy of personal income tax clearance certificates of two directors in case of limited liability companies or the proprietor(s)/partners in case of enterprise covering 2021, 2022 & 2023.
v. Evidence or payments of 3 years development levy (2021, 2022 & 2023)
vi. Evidence of current registration of Business Premises with Ondo State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperative services.
vii. Evidence of financial capability and banking support.
viii. Experience/Technical qualification of key personnel with evidence of professional registration with appropriate professional bodies.
ix. Evidence of similar projects executed or ongoing.
x. Letter of assent to allow for verification of all documents submitted to ODSUBEB.
xi. Original receipt of payment of non-refundable tender fee.
xii. Bidders may bid for one or more lots as bids will be evaluated on lot by lot basis.

3. Interested bidders can obtain tender documents and additional information from the department of physical planning, Ondo state Universal Basic Education Board, Oda Road, Akure.

4. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
All tender documents (Financial and Technical Bids) – 1 original and 2 copies should be submitted in a sealed envelope with UBEC/SUBEB/2023/LOT Number clearly indicated on the top right hand corner and must be delivered by hand before 12 noon on Wednesday, 24th January, 2024 addressed to:

5. BID OPENING
The tender documents will be opened in the presence of the contractors making submissions or their representatives at the premises of the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) after the expiration of the submission of tenders on Wednesday, 24th January 2024 by 12 noon.
Late submissions will be rejected.
