INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROJECTS

1. The Sokoto State Government, through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Survey intend to embark on the construction of key developmental projects, in furtherance of its Urban renewal program. Accordingly, reputable experienced, and competent interested contractors are hereby invited to tender for the following projects.

(i) Construction of Sheik Abubakar Mahmoud Gummi Memorial College Sokoto
(ii) Dualisation of Road from Welcome to Sokoto Gate to Zamau Junction at Rikina – (7.1km)
(iii) Construction of Double Carriageway from Kasarawa (along Airport Road) to Zamau Junction (12km)

2. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:

(i) Tender (Bid) documents are to be obtained from the Ministry of Works and Transport, Usman Faruk Secretariat, Sokoto upon presentation of a receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of N250,000:00 for each project paid into the State Consolidated Revenue Account No. 5030063938 into Fidelity Bank Pic and Sort Code 070221068.
(ii) The duly completed documents should be signed, sealed, and submitted not later than 2 weeks from the date of this publication. The documents should contain both technical and financial Bids together with evidence of registration with the State Bureau of Public Procurement, Price Intelligence, and Public-Private Partnership. The project title should also be indicated on the right-hand corner of the envelope.
(iii) Closing date for submission of Tender documents is Tuesday 7/9/2021 by 12:00 noon.
