KEEPING FOOD MARKETS WORKING (KFMW) INFRASTRUCTURAL INVESTMENT IN GOSA AND UTAKO MARKETS.
ISSUED BY THE GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR IMPROVED NUTRITION (GAIN).

In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, GAIN developed the Keeping Food Market Working (KFMW), a programme of targeted support to help sustain core food systems, workers and markets during the COVID-19 emergency. GAIN’s goal is to mitigate the collapse of food systems by supporting food markets and the value chain faces potentially in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), especially in Africa and Asia, which face potentially catastrophic supply and demand disruption. GAIN will achieve this by establishing an emergency response programme to assess and address the challenges facing the food system.

This programme has the overarching goal of mitigating the risk of economic collapse of food systems in order to sustain the availability and affordability of nutritious and safe foods, and contribute to lowering the burden of ill-health, particularly for the most vulnerable. The prospective consultant will be introduced to the relevant market stakeholders including Market Response Units, AMAC representatives, and other peer consultants currently working on the project based on existing relationships already nurtured by GAIN.

PREAMBLES
The Office of the Secretary to the Yobe State Government in compliance with best practice guidelines and Public Procurement Act (2016) hereby wishes to invite reputable interested bidders/suppliers with requisite expertise and experience to tender for:

  • THE SUPPLY OF 20 NOS. TOYOTA LAND CRUISER VEHICLES

Eligibility Requirements
Interested suppliers/bidders should submit their (EOI) document along with the followings:
i. Certificate of Incorporation
ii. Registration with the Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement (BPP)
iii. 3 years Current Tax Clearance
iv. Three (3) years Audited accounts.
v. Evidence of at least 3 similar projects executed. (Certificate of Completion)
vi. A sworn affidavit that the company is not bankrupt.
vii. Evidence of VAT remittance.
viii. The Company is not bankrupt
ix. Evidence of PENCOM compliance.
