Food For Peace (FFP) Project Final External Evaluation Consultant

Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified consultant to conduct an external evaluation of the Danish Refugee Council’s (DRC) Food for Peace (FFP) project in Northeast Nigeria.

About the job:

To respond to growing humanitarian needs, FFP is funding DRC through a one-year project entitled “Improved access to food for IDPs and vulnerable host communities in Borno and Adamawa State”. The goal of this action is to improve household food security, reduce vulnerability, and restore livelihood assets of the affected communities. The DRC Nigeria programme strategy is currently articulated around the provision of Unconditional Cash Transfers (UCT), Cash for Work (CFW), Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and Complimentary Livelihood Initiatives focusing on IDPs and host communities. While responding to the most pressing needs of IDPs, DRC simultaneously provides support to returnees who have arrived back to their areas of origin and need recovery assistance as they begin rebuilding their lives and vulnerable host community households.
