TITLE: CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SUPPORT TO FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY (FCT) HRH UNIT TO DOMESTICATE THE TASK-SHIFTING/TASK SHARING POLICY FOR ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN NIGERIA.

Palladium invites applications from suitably qualified individual consultants to provide technical support to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Health and Human Services Secretariat (HHSS) Human Resources for Health (HRH) unit to produce their Task Shifting/Task Sharing Policy for Addressing HRH for Health Shortages.

The consultancy aims to provide technical assistance to FCT HHSS to domesticate the reviewed National Task Shifting/Task Sharing Policy for Addressing HRH for Health Shortages, especially at the PHC Level and use the information to revise job descriptions.

TYPE OF CONTRACT
This is a firm fixed price deliverable-based contract. The consultant is expected to satisfactorily accomplish the deliverables before he/she gets paid for that deliverable. The IHP Chief of Party reserves the right to confirm if a deliverable is delivered adequately or otherwise. No price change is expected after contract is signed. IHP will not pay for cost of any deliverable that is not complete, of quality or on time.

The Government of Nigeria has prioritized social protection interventions as a key strategy towards reducing poverty and socio-economic vulnerabilities in the population. In line with this, the government in partnership with the World Bank has designed the National Social Safety Net Project (NASSP), aimed at dedicating national resources to improve the lives of citizens and strengthen the role of social protection in helping to distribute resources more broadly. NASSP involves two components:

(i) Establishing systems for social safety net that would serve as a robust platform for effectively targeting and delivering social assistance; and
(ii) Implementing cash transfers to targeted poor and vulnerable households. The program has national coverage, with all states eligible to participate.

The National Cash Transfer Office now invites sealed Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible Property Managers and Valuers/Owners to express interest by submission of formal application detailing their properties to enable us make a shortlist for competitive bidding through the Request for quotations.

Below is a detailed Specification of the Property intended.

a. Location – Abuja – suitable & proper for official habitation
b. Staff Population== 100
c. Plot Area=== 2,000m2
d. Parking =====50 Cars Conveniently
e. Security & Power House = 10-12m2
f. Water Reservoir === 10,000 Liters and serviced by a functional borehole
g. 2 Conference Halls with easy access to sizeable Kitchen.
h. Befitting Front Office
i. Reasonable numbers of Conveniences
j. Adequate store room with vehicle access
k. Any other facility advantageous to Office use.
